Instructions and care

Oyster Mushroom Grow Kit

 (Pleurotus pulmonarius) — Care Instructions
Step 1: First soak (rehydrate)
Fill the top of the container with clean water until the block is covered.
Soak for 2 hours.
Going over is okay, but keep it under 6 hours.
Drain well after soaking.
Make sure there is no standing (stagnant) water left in the container.
Step 2: Daily care (grow your mushrooms)
Your goal is: high humidity + fresh air + no standing water.
Mist 2–3 times per day.
If your home is dry, mist more often.
Keep the kit where it gets good airflow (fresh air).
Keep at room temperature.
Humidifier option: If you have a humidifier and it keeps the area humid enough, it can replace misting. Aim the humidified air toward the kit.
Step 3: What to expect
First mushrooms usually grow in 1–3 weeks, depending on conditions.
Step 4: After harvest (next flush)
After you harvest a flush, re-soak the kit using the same steps:
clean water → 2 hours (under 6) → drain well → no standing water
Then return to the daily care routine.
